I was shocked to hear over the tannoy that Deerhounds and Whippets had been left in a Mercedes van. I just hope the information was wrong.

JUNIOR DOG

1 Peach’s KILBOURNE HAMLET RES CC Excellent mature youngster, hands flowed over him, good angulation fore and aft. Good rib cage, he moves soundly, the top honours will be his very soon.

POSTGRADUATE DOG

1 Francis & Blatchford’s CLOWESWOOD ACER OF PEOPLETON. Tall hound, nicely balanced good depth to rib cage. Moved around the ring well.

LIMIT DOG

1 Francis CLOWESWOOD FAGUS. Very well presented. Liked his leg length to height ratio. Better top line than 2 Moved well.

2 Gomm’s PACKWAY VINSON OF WILDTOR. Slightly longer and not the depth of chest of 1. Falls away to soon giving a shorter look to his hind quarters.

1 Help’s CH.GREYFRIARS GILLE OF BEARDSWOOD CC I have always liked this hound and he has some nice progeny coming in to the ring, it was a pleasure to go over him, A Tall, but, well balanced hound, so very well handled, for me a little strong in head.

2 Llewwllyn’s KILBOURNE MACALLAN AT MATAHARI a paler coated hound, better head and expression, not as strong in the body proportions as 1

What a lovely class, Nice to see the future of the breed, some lovely puppies.

1 Bond’s REGALFIGHT TANA This is a class for 6 – 12 months. This puppy is just 6 mths and fits the bill, she is all curves. Typical head. Moved well, shame they have to grow up !!

2 Peach’s AIN'T MISS BEHAVIN AT KILBOURNE another lovely puppy, not quite the curves of 1 a month older and more forward her top line may be better than 1 when mature.

Two lovely junior’s not a lot between them, they could change places another day. Both are balanced and moved well.

1 Mansell’s & Duddell’s KILLOETER PIERIS AT CANERIKIE Taller than 2, preferred leg to height ratio plus better in hind quarters. I felt her head and expression was more in keeping with the breed standard.

2 Buswell’s GLENMORLICH JUST FOR FUN A very curvy young lady, a little more forward in development than 1.felt her eye was a little to full for me

1 Morgan’s LADYGROVE CALAMITY JANE AT AMIRO well balanced dark bitch. Stronger neck and a Better topline than 2, nice mover

2 Llewellyn’s MATAHARI MERMAID Leggier and not the strength in neck of 1 preferred her head. Both bitches have good rib cages.

1 Godden & Peach’s BRACKENLAND TAN TO KILBOURNE One I have liked from ringside. She did not disappoint me, covering plenty of ground on the stand and move. I like her overall balance and depth to her rib cage.

2 Carr’s KILBOURNE OH SUZZANNA AT MARANDIKE Another lovely bitch, pleasing head and expression neat ears, better length hip to hock joint and beautifully presented.

My hands flowed over her Lovely shoulders good forearm’s good ribcage strong hind quarters. Good to see her back in the ring after a litter, her son who was second in puppy today is very promising. She moved Around the ring with drive and ownership.

2 Gomm’s CH CANERIKIE COOKIE CRUSHER TO WILDTOR RES CC Not a large girl. Nicely put together again moves well. Not the show girl that 1 is but still one that you can’t pass by.
